After an eventful coach journey to North Herts Crusaders, an exciting East of England Shield Final took place. End to end action saw a physical game go to the wire. With a final try from the Knights skipper (Lui Levy), converted by the youngest boot on the pitch (Alfie Thorne), Crusaders were unable to respond as the minutes passed. The Knights held on as the whistle blew for an 18 – 22 victory in only their second season.
